JANE LINDERS
My main focus is on alternative photographic techniques such as polaroid tranfers and infrared black and white photography. Polaroid transfers offer incrediable diversity and the mobility and flexibility of this photographic medium lends itself to spontaneous exploration. My subjects are anything from the crumbling graves of persons long gone to the quirky kitsch of a local roadside Elvis museum. I photograph places and things that catch my eye as I travel through life. Like many artists, my time is divided between my family , my job and my art. To maintain some sort of balance, most of my images are shot while I'm going about my ordinary life: carting kids to soccer games, family outings and vacations.
